Liberation of Bangladesh

We pat Indira Gandhi on the back in the 1971 war, but we must read this statement of Benazir Bhutto's husband Asif Ali Zardari in the Parliament of Pakistan.

 When more than 90000 soldiers of Pakistan were in the captivity of India, more than three thousand of their military officers were in our custody..Pakistan army had surrendered.

 Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was teaching politics to his daughter.

 Indira Gandhi put a condition in front of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, if you want your 93000 soldiers back then you give Kashmir to us, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto told Indira Gandhi that we will not give you Kashmir, I will not sign anything, you will give it to 93000 soldiers  Keep it to yourself

 Indira Gandhi did not even dream that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a bigger player than her.  He knows how to win a lost battle at the borders at the table.

 Indira Gandhi's condition had become such as if someone went to offer prayers and fasted her throat.

 Both Pupul Jayakar and Kuldip Nayar wrote in their book, Indira Gandhi missed that opportunity, she and her advisors had no diplomatic knowledge of how to handle such a situation.

 Under the Geneva Convention, if a country captures a prisoner of war, then it has to take full care of the dignity of the prisoner of war.

 Zulfikar Ali Bhutto told his daughter Benazir Bhutto at the hotel in the evening that India's back has been broken in this war, we fought the war with full valor, we have given a lot of hurt to India's economy.  India has already suffered the burden of Bangladeshi refugees, now how will India take care of 93000 Pakistani soldiers and if India wants to settle 93000 Pakistani soldiers with them, then settle them and what will we do even after taking back those cowardly soldiers?  I have made Indira Gandhi like a mole in the neck of a snake.

 And in the end Indira Gandhi's condition became such as if someone ate a hundred shoes and also ate a hundred onions.

  Indira Gandhi also gave Kashmir to Pakistan, also returned 93000 soldiers and left 56 of her soldiers to die in Pakistan's jail, and after 8 months in the desire of Nobel Prize in India's Gujarat state included district Tharparkar also to Pakistan  While 98% of Tharparkar's population was Hindu at that time.

 After the Simla Agreement, the then army chief wrote a book after his retirement, saying that we won this war on the battlefield, but the politicians defeated India at the table.

 And that politician was Indira Gandhi.
