A Python Meets A Crocodile. And After Seeing What Happened, I’m Never Going Outside Again.
It’s easy to take our existence for granted. After all, we exited the food chain. Unless you’re living in the middle of the jungle, you probably don’t have to worry about a tiger knocking at your door, waiting to eat you. Then, this Reddit user reminded us that nature is indeed quite frightening and could probably kick our butts.
What you’re about to see is a hungry snake having a bit of a snack. But you won’t believe what it’s chowing down on.
It’s native to Australia… and like many other animals on that continent, it’s pretty deadly.
When eating something THIS big, pythons will basically re-arrange their internal organs to make room for the food.
Also, their intestines experience massive hypertrophy in order to pump out enough digestive enzymes to consume this meal.
If crocodiles can eat humans and snakes can eat crocodiles, that means if you see a huge olive python, you should probably head in the other direction. Or else there is a very good chance it will swallow you whole.
I think I’m just going to stay inside from now on.
